I’m so glad you’re here.

I am looking forward to meeting you. In the meantime, here’s a little about me.

I began my work as a therapist working for an agency on Chicago’s Northwest side. I spent my days working with my clients as well as their treatment teams, schools, and families. The job was incredibly rewarding. It enabled me to use creativity and clinical skills to help my clients and to improve the support systems that surrounded them. It never felt like work. I enjoyed every minute of it.

In 2011, we moved back to the Cincinnati area and I knew that I wanted to continue this rewarding work as a therapist but my family had grown, and I needed to find a better balance.

I sought the freedom to stray from the one-size-fits-all approach to therapy and in 2017, I created a private-practice model that is flexible, client-focused, and creative.

A year into my new practice, my children’s pediatrician asked if I would accept referrals from her. She was looking for a therapist who she could trust to support her patients.

She went on to describe the families she saw:

  • Parents who felt they weren’t enough for their kids.

  • Teenagers who struggled with doubt.

  • Young adults transitioning into adulthood and trying to make their way.

  • Families who hit a bump in the road, and needed a little nudge to get them through.

Every one of her patient's stories resonated. I knew that my experience, coupled with my relaxed approach to therapy, could make a difference in these families lives. Since then, I have found that by inviting teenagers, young adults, and their parents into sessions both individually and collectively we can truly develop solutions for the whole family.

Ultimately, my practice is designed to offer the very same thing I want for my own family of six: flexibility, balance, connection, insight and wisdom, and life on one’s own terms.

Maybe you found me because you’re looking for some support and encouragement. Maybe you’re trying to find a therapist who is a little laid back and not stuffy.

I get it.

I’m ready to invest my time in you and your family, so that you can get back to what matters most to you. Whatever it is.

Sound like I might be a good fit? Give me a call/drop me a note.

We’ve got this.
